Yeah, thought I’d stop by today. Mattix turned five on February 14. I can’t even believe it and although I’m late, as per my usual in general lately, I’m going to write his fifth birthday post this weekend.
Until then, I wanted to share the life board I made for him to share with his class. I love the Montessori way of celebrating a child’s birthday. We did something similar for his fourth birthday, but this one was just so… big.
I didn’t let him see it until we came to school for the party. He was so pleased and so proud and loved showing all of the kids in his class. He beamed when a few told him he was a really cute baby.

Oh thank god! I thought you quit your blog… And then who was going to be my resident go to guide for parenting kids of a different race where it isn’t a big deal but really it is…( China, we are in! Ssshhh… My parents dont know yet… But the whole internet does now!) And all the while hooking me up with crash diets that work, affirm that my little drinking problem isn’t really a problem and thats ok, and show me how to shop for a little girl/circus performer with ease! Got it, Laura… Keep blogging, pretty please!
